Estimated entropy: 84 bits

Vocabulary: English compound words. Each element is sampled uniformly from 4096 possible combinations (12 bits per element). Seven elements provide about 84 bits. Fixed separators do not add entropy.

Use passphrases responsibly

When are they useful?

Passphrases can be easier to remember or type than random strings, particularly for a password manager’s master password. For accounts where your manager fills credentials, a long random password is another strong choice.

How does generation work?

Passuno builds each element from two common English words and selects it using cryptographically secure browser randomness. It never selects birthdays, names or patterns associated with you.

What are the limitations?

Some websites restrict password length or reject certain separators. Clipboard history, phishing and malware can still compromise a passphrase. Never reuse it for different accounts.
